Jobs and financials need your QuoteBuild sign-in, scope-based permission and existing data rules.
Attach a supplier receipt to a cost or payment proof to an invoice. Proof is never treated as a payment until you confirm it.
In a supported chat host, add a custom connection using the QuoteBuild MCP address.
Approve access to your QuoteBuild account. The chat receives only the permissions needed for the task.
Say what you are pricing in plain English. The chat asks for missing details, then QuoteBuild runs the calculator.
Drafts can be saved, but client-facing sends always need a separate confirmation.
“Price a 2.4m by 2m bathroom refit with porcelain tiles, bath, shower and four downlights.”
“Compare two kitchen scenarios: flat-pack versus rigid units, both with 25% margin.”
“Review this estimate for missing scope before I create a quote draft.”
“Show me the live cost and margin position for this job.”
“Attach this supplier receipt to today’s materials cost, then show me the revised margin.”
Yes. QuoteBuild provides a secure MCP connection for supported chat hosts, including ChatGPT and Claude. Add the QuoteBuild connection in your chat host, then sign in to your QuoteBuild account when asked. Availability depends on the host, account and connector settings.
No. The chat helps turn a rough brief into the right questions and chooses the correct QuoteBuild calculator. QuoteBuild runs the versioned formula, rates, margin, contingency and VAT calculations, then returns the assumptions and warnings for review.
You can run supported calculators, compare scenarios, review estimate scope, and—after signing in—work with your own jobs, estimates, quotes, costs, variations, invoices, files and reports. You can attach a supplier receipt to a live cost or customer payment proof to an invoice. Uploading proof never marks an invoice paid: that needs a separate confirmation. Sending a quote, variation or invoice also always needs confirmation for the exact current payload.
Any chat host that supports remote MCP connections can use the same QuoteBuild endpoint. Some model platforms use function calling or OpenAPI instead of consumer MCP connections. QuoteBuild keeps the same calculation, permission and data rules across those routes.
You can use selected public calculators without an account. You need a QuoteBuild trial or paid account to access private jobs, estimates, quotes, costs, files and reports.
Start with a real job and let QuoteBuild keep the commercial calculation and customer actions reviewable.
